Hr Advisor / ER – IMMEDIATE START   Duration : Until December 2020 -2-3 months initially   Location: Portsmouth , Waterlooville   Hours of work : Monday to Friday core working hours    This position will be remote working although may require the occasional travel to site   Dynamite recruitment is currently working in partnership with a very well established business who are based in the Hampshire area   Due to a busy period our client is looking to recruit a HR advisor to join their very successful Hr and recruitment team with immediate effect   As a HR advisor you will be responsible for reporting to the HR business partner whilst working closely with a HR team   Essentially we are looking for someone who is confident in managing employee relations, understands and interprets policies quickly, and can help in the end of year performance reviews   As a HR advisor / ER support your key duties will include the following : To be a first point of contact for administrative and HR Policy and Procedure queries To be responsible for maintaining employee information in the HR system Challenge, coach and support Managers with practical resolution of employee relation matters including grievance, disciplinary, performance and absence management Produce reports from the HR system as necessary – adapting to informative presentations for management and HR use To be the main point of contact for ER related issues which will be managed with care Ensure HR payroll submission is delivered in line with cut-off dates Supports the development of our clients people policies, procedures and other practices and advising line managers and colleagues on these Advising colleagues on relevant benefits including accessing EAP support Supports the SHRBP in the preparation of the annual SMCR Fit & Proper assessment Supporting the HR business partner in attending mid & year-end performance calibration sessions to capture discussion points and performance ratings profile Undertake HR project work Advise line managers on the application of HR policies and procedures and share best practice Support the mental health strategy and health & wellbeing initiatives across the business, raising awareness of mental health and supporting managers in managing cases Ensures pre-employment checks are carried out   Person Specification: Will have previous experience at HR advisor level – 2 years minimum Will have focused on and have a passion for ER Highly organized - able to manage multiple activities at one time and effectively prioritise Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team High attention to detail Approachable manner Good knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures and their application Experience working in a fast-paced HR environment Experience using HR systems and reporting Associate CIPD qualified or equivalent PC literate including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)   To be considered for this position please apply asap
