About us Programmes & services Technologies & Industry sectors Centres & labs Events News and insights Contact us As HR Business Partner – Talent, you will play a key role in further professionalising and delivering on our people resourcing strategy, ensuring we continue to attract, develop and retain a highly skilled and diverse team of motivated people.As well as driving effective and timely talent attraction strategies as needed to fulfil our short-term hiring needs, you will also work on initiatives that help to prepare us for the longer term and that continue to improve our employer brand awareness and build talent pipelines (internal/ external) and networks. Closing date for applications: 14th September 2020. what you’ll do Partner with HR Director to define hiring plans and be responsible for delivering on these Partner with hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process from initial role definition through to successful hire Suggest new, innovative ideas to attract highly talented people from diverse backgrounds Own the candidate experience and continuously work to improve this Support the HR team with onboarding activities As needed, work on workforce planning projects with line managers and HR team members to assess current and future talent needs, define role competency frameworks and skills matrices and proactively plan learning and development initiatives with other HR team members Continue to build on and enhance the processes, reporting and systems used associated with talent attraction and talent management (including improved automation of processes) Provide additional support as needed on other people focused initiatives. what we’re looking for You will have solid and proven experience of delivering high tech, cutting edge technology talent acquisition particularly from working in-house You will have a clear understanding of and experience in broader talent management An excellent and proactive user of online recruitment and social media channels and niche job sites Ability to multi-task/ task switch in a fast paced environment, highly organised and self-driven Strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication and project management skills in a talent management capacity Experienced in mapping and improving processes and systems Open in nature and a passionate advocate for building diverse and inclusive teams Brand conscious with an understanding of how “first impressions count” Must be inquisitive, creative, proactive, and tenacious A business partner and enabler who provides willing and invaluable support to colleagues A CIPD qualification would be attractive, but is not essential.
