Position Title: HR Director - CNBC Hiring Manager: SVP, Global HR  Organization: CNBC Human Resources Location: London or Singapore Role Summary : Dynamic opportunity to provide human resources support for CNBC International. The role’s responsibilities and opportunities include partnership with members of the CNBC international leadership team, managing employee relations matters, compensation planning, performance management, staffing, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR process coordination. The HR Director for CNBC International will provide day-to-day HR support for approximately 250 global staff employees, leading the people strategy and collaborate with HR colleagues across NBCUniversal’s business units. This position is also responsible for leading a team of HR professionals in the UK and Singapore, and reports into both the President and Managing Director, CNBC International and SVP, Global HR for CNBC.   Responsibilities: Serve as primary HR Contact and provide generalist support for the CNBC international community. Collaborate on a strategic and tactical level with operating leaders on a variety of Human Resource and business-related initiatives to support organization and operational goals. Manage all day-to-day HR responsibilities, including: salary/bonus planning, staffing, on and off-boarding, and performance management. Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values and strategic vision of the business. Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment and act as an employee advocate. Manage staffing process working with clients and talent acquisition to identify recruitment strategies and key talent. Uncover, assess and propose opportunities for strategic improvements. Manage an international team HR professionals. Provide general oversight of work, delegate projects and responsibilities to grow HR talent, and provide career guidance. Work closely and partner effectively with several HR leaders to ensure consistent HR practices across related organizations and functions. Participate in the ideation and organization of onsite employee events related to strategic initiatives (diversity, wellness, L&D, pipeline programs, etc.) Develop a learning and understanding of each role in the client group and how those roles impact our product. Close partnership with other functional employees (i.e. Finance, PR, Legal) as well as Global HR teams to provide thoughtful and strategic business support. Qualifications: BA/BS in Human Resources or related field CIPD Qualification   Eligibility Requirements: Must be willing to work in London or Singapore Must be willing to travel for work related business as necessary   Desired Characteristics: Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential data for employees Able to handle multiple priorities and lead change Comfortable navigating a global, matrix, fast-paced organisation Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of delivering results Takes ownership, able to establish self as a the ‘go-to’ HR point of contact for client organizations Experience working in the media industry is a plus Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive initiatives from start to finish Strong verbal and written communication skills with client-support and consultative orientation Excellent interpersonal skills Proven influencer, demonstrated ability to coach and counsel both employees and executives Significant experience in managing complex organizational issues Team player Qualifications/Requirements - Sub-Business CNBC HR Experienced City London State/Province - - Country United Kingdom About Us At NBCUniversal, we believe in the talent of our people.
