Five Investigative Support Officers are required to support to Major Incident Team, by taking responsibility for functions concerned with the investigations into murder and Major Crime Investigation. To act as investigating officer in investigations, taking responsibility for evidence gathering, file preparation and submission and the management of cases throughout the prosecution and Crown Court trial process. To perform roles within the Major Incident Room as directed by the SIO, including action allocating, reading/receiving, disclosure, CCTV and exhibits management.
