IT Infosec Manager


Sigma are looking for an experience IT Infosec Manager to look after our IT security reporting into the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).Job Purpose: The role is accountable for developing and managing Sigma's information security practices and strategy. This involves management of a variety of information security disciplines and deliverables, some of which are in healthy tension with IT and business operations. The post-holder will ensure that Sigma is protected as far as possible from the risks of inappropriate disclosure, corruption and loss of its information assets and client assets under its control, ultimately protecting customer data to the maximum extent possible. Principal Accountabilities The post-holder is the primary accountable manager to ensure that Sigma is protected as far as possible from the risks of inappropriate disclosure, corruption and loss of its information assets and any client assets under its control at all sites internationally. Current sites are Birmingham and Redditch in the UK and Cape Town, South Africa. Lead the delivery of Sigma's information security strategy and Information Security Management System (ISMS) to continuously improve the security of all information assets. To ensure that technical services, operations and other business teams operate according to the ISMS follow information security best practice. To lead the information security audit programme and lead all audits by external auditors for ISO27001, PCI and any other standards Sigma is required to comply with. To respond to client security risk assessments and lead client reviews or audits as necessary (generally 27001/PCI DSS oriented). To complete third party security risk assessments and third-party reviews (regulatory and compliance frameworks such as 27001/PCI DSS) To improve and update the policy and process set within the ISMS supporting ISO27001 and PCI compliance. To develop training material and train Information Asset Owners on the information security requirements of their role. To keep up to date with and communicate security trends, threats and control measures, to be an active member of information security manager communities, network with ISMs within the BPO industry.
