IT Software Asset Management Analyst IT Software Asset Manager / SAM / Software Licensing / ITIL / Permanent / Warwickshire My market leading and award winning client in Warwickshire, known for being a great place to work is looking for an experienced IT Software Asset Management Analyst to join their growing IT team. Key Responsibilities: Manage relationships with the third party Software Asset Management service providers to ensure agreed service is being delivered and all service obligations are met. Advise, guide and influence change/governance forums and initiatives to ensure that Asset Management processes and policies are adhered to. Analyse and interpret third party data to make and action decisions in relation to how to optimise the software on the estate. Facilitate the software licence procurement process ensuring that, at the point of purchase, the relevant licence metrics are clearly understood and accepted by the relevant teams. Ensure the contractual agreements outlining the correct licence metric is understood and adhered to and that the correct licence metric is being used by the supplier to ensure it maximises benefit. Oversee key vendor portals, manage/control access, control software downloads, licence usages and metrics, highlighting and resolving any issues that are not in line contractual licence obligations. Support IT Software Asset Manager during internal and external audits. Key Skills and Experience required: Experience of managing software licensing across various platforms (desktop, server and cloud) at an enterprise level Demonstrated knowledge of software asset lifecycle Broad knowledge into the complexities of license contract terms and software license types Experience utilising a software license management system Knowledge of ITIL Service management and Asset Management solution Basic understanding of hardware and software asset management processes High analytical ability and demonstrated problem solving skills Adjusts to changing situations and expectations and shows willingness to learn new ways to achieve goals Identifies problems, understands root cause and effect and solves independently within assigned space This is a great opportunity to join an established, yet growing organisation during an exciting period of change.
