IT Technician – Epsom £25-30k + Bens Penguin Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a London based Charity who are urgently recruiting for an IT Technician to join their HQ, supporting circa 100 users across the UK. The role: As an IT Technician you will be responsible for the smooth operation of their IT estate, including installation and maintenance of computer systems as well as being the primary point of contact for day to day IT support for. You will have responsibility for training and coaching colleagues in the safe, secure and efficient use of provided IT equipment, software and systems. A varied and autonomous role you will also be involved in the implementation of projects and testing of various software systems. About you: Suitable IT Technicians will have: * Ideally 3+ years experience in computer networks and systems administration. * Solid grounding in systems administration using both on-premise and cloud-based solutions, such as Windows Server, Microsoft 365, & Azure Active Directory. * Solid understanding of relational database design principles. * An interest in gaining experience in managing relationships with key suppliers. * An interest in evaluating and testing new products and services. * Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communications skills * Attention to detail. * Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.
