The role and its Activities

The position supports reclaim and refrigerants departments (RRD) work to gain more business opportunities and elaborate on how and where the company should approach for RRD purposes. Gather market information across the EU (per country) to estimate the potentially recoverable volumes of waste refrigerant from end of life equipment and from retrofits. Build a network to Key Accounts and learn from affiliates’ networking and approach into associations.

To produce a valid argument and supporting material that promotes the company’s activities and investments in to recycled products. In short, providing a compelling argument that can be lobbied in Europe to highlight a greater focus on environmentally beneficial products.

Main Responsibilities

⦁ Represent and develop the company’s policy in recoverable and reusable waste refrigerant, research, marketing and advocacy agenda in line with the strategic and operational plan.
⦁ Investigation of past and current actions and initiatives related to RRD waste policy which is already established.
⦁ Estimate the volumes of recoverable and reusable waste, which is able to recover and process from the market.
⦁ Build an RRD Marketing strategy in collaboration with other RRD Chemical Departments. Emphasize on existing customers and attract them to future collaboration as the solution provider.
⦁ Measure impact and review progress with marketing and advocacy strategies and plans and ensure ongoing development of these in response to changes in the external environment
⦁ Provide supervision and advice to the Refrigerants Management and other members of the refrigerants project to fulfill their role in representing the business at conferences, working groups and other governance forums.
⦁ Represent company interests on relevant working groups and forums as required.
⦁ Identify and plan lobbying activities aimed at Federal and State government and government related bodies.
⦁ Research and preparation of reports for implementation of the refrigerants policy, search and advocacy strategy.
⦁ Provide supervision and guidance to internal and external RRD members and departments.
⦁ Undertake other duties and responsibilities within the scope of the role as directed.

Personal Skills

⦁ Degree at Bachelor/Master level and/or 10 years’ experience in desired industry.
⦁ Awareness of European waste laws, F-Gas regulation, ADR Transport regulation, Circular Economy, Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
⦁ Profound experience in project management with multi-national and cross-functional teams. Mature personality, able to entrain people, convincing, good promoter, able to operate on new terrain, with excellent communication skills, able and experienced in building trustful business relationships in a diplomatic way.
⦁ Very good English skills verbal and written is a must and additional European languages as German or Dutch, French or Italian is desirable.
