Job Category: IT Job Location: London, Greater London, United Kingdom Mobile Developer - Java, Kotlin A Uk retailer is currently looking for a Mobile Developer to join a team which will develop a commercial online shopping application on a Native Android platform. My client is a growing retail business with systems and internal technology that is above it's competitors. They are currently in the processes of initiating a highly advanced project and will be collobrating with names all across Europe. The succesfull Mobile Developer will be a part of an exciting greenfield project which is EU funded. Key requirements for a Mobile Developer: 2:1 or 1st class degree in a relevant tech field Good problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong knowledge of Android SDK as well as Android IDE, Eclipse Confident in designing optimal user experience workflows with InVision High level of experience working with Java and Kotlin Working knowledge of RESTful services Understanding on how to work with RESTful services Ability to develop easy to port and refactor code Familiarity with source control systems and continuous integration tools e.g. Git, Maven, Travis, Jenkins An understanding of other mobile application tools e.g iOS Desirable requirements for a Mobile Developer: Strong understanding of the mobile development life cycle Experienced working in Agile methodologies Knowledge of Swift, Objective-C and iOS SDK Other software development/engineering skills and languages will also be interesting If you meet the requirements of the Mobile Developer, please apply immediately
