Due to growth, this privately owned Construction company, established for 60 years, has created a new position for an experienced and adaptable Part-Time Office Administrator / Part Time Administration Assistant with a construction related background, to provide both clerical and administrative support to the Contracts Managers managing shopfitting and retail fit-out building projects.
PART TIME ADMINISTRATOR / PART-TIME OFFICE ADMIN ASSISTANT – HAVANT
LOCATION: Based in Havant, Hampshire. You may be searching for Parttime Admin jobs in Havant, Hayling Island, Waterlooville, Emsworth, Cosham, Portsmouth, Fareham or Chichester.
SALARY: £9.00ph-£10.00ph plus benefits, free tea/coffee, nice spacious offices.
HOURS: Permanent, Part Time, approximately 16-20 hours a week.
Finding the right person, is the most important thing, so specific hours/ days can be tailored around you!
Supporting the Contracts Administrator and Contracts Managers, your role will encompass a wide range of interesting a varied duties and responsibilities, including:
* typing quotes
* generating purchasing invoices
* hiring plant and equipment
* purchasing materials
* processing wages
* updating H&S paperwork
* generating site files and O&M manuals
* printing drawings
* fleet management
* managing phone contracts
* general maintenance of the company’s office administrative systems.
You will be a confident and personable Office Administrator with good all-round administration experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as organised and proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Ideally from a Construction background, your attention to detail as well as your down-to-earth, hardworking attitude and being able to ‘muck-in’ (and make a good cup of tea), will contribute towards a fun and rewarding career!
