Pastry Chefs Be part of a team striving to create Britain's Best Kitchen. We make Remarkable Food for your Freezer by cooking using the same ingredients and techniques as you do at home.  We are growing fast and are looking for remarkable people, who care about quality and want to have fun, to join our team.  ROLE INVOLVES · Monday - Friday 6am -2pm · Ensure all products are of the highest possible standard · Learn about all new products and train them out to the team · Understand targets for the department · Ensure equipment is maintained · Foster good working relationships and high levels of communication across all departments · Ensure all recipes are followed to the correct specification · Ensure a safe environment is provided for the team to work in, minimising all hazards or risk · Lead by example, ensure others work to the same high standards · Meet the daily targets of the department to the highest standard possible · Ensure production is maximised and wastage is minimised SKILLS REQUIRED · Experience as Chef or equivalent · NVQ Level 1 and 2 (or equivalent) in Catering · Understanding of food quality
