Payroll Administrator - Leicester
We are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team in Leicester on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work as part of our payroll team to ensure the accurate and timely production of staff and client pension payroll. This is an opportunity for a positive and driven individual to gain knowledge and experience whilst working. This is a key role; you will be expected to manage and support the running of staff payroll. Please note, at times, this may be a sole responsibility. You will also be responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely production of client pension payroll. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Capable of answering any staff payroll queries. Keeping up to date with all relevant payroll changes and legislation. Troubleshooting and testing issues within the payroll functionality of Workday. Administering the payroll for several trustee companies. Sending payslips (either electronically or in the post). Checking the accuracy of new starters to payroll. Moving funds from scheme account to payroll account. Paying clients to their personal account in a timely manner. Reconciling the relevant payroll bank accounts. Liaising with CRMs/Consultants. Minimum 2 years’ experience of running staff payroll for approx. 250+ employees. Educational qualifications that demonstrate proficiency in English and Maths. The ability to work accurately with detailed information. Strong time management and organisational skills. Strong skills in using the Microsoft Office package. Experience of using Workday’s payroll integration (desirable). Must be qualified or working towards a CIPP qualification (desirable).
