My Client is an established engineering manufacturing seeking a Process Engineer to join the team, the main focus for the Process Engineer will be to provide support to the Electronics Production Department.
*To provide process support to all areas of Production, including Conventional and Unit build.
*Investigation and reporting of process issues to Management and relevant departments.
*Making an estimate production time for potential new products using Customer information, BOM, Cad data, Gerber, drawings, layouts to enable the Sales team to create an accurate customer price offer.
*Support the Production Engineers Optimise programs, split them on two machines (sometimes manually split) to obtain the best time and quality for the product.
*Optimise the new component setup needed for the program.
*Support the Production Engineers in creation and issue control of Production Build Packages using Aegis Circam/ Factory Logix or Microsoft Word.
*Creation and Implementation of Change orders and ensuring latest revision info is being used.
*Monitoring production of current jobs to ensure good time efficiencies are being achieved. Where necessary, modify production time to reflect actual production in order to be able to offer best price for our services to the customer and achieve profitability for Chemigraphic.
*Assist with Planning and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules and m/c breakdowns. (Including liaison with internal departments and external contractors.)ideas put forward by the Technicians/Operators in the various departments
The main duties for the Process Engineer will be:
Experience and skills needed to be the successful Process Engineer:
*PCB Process Engineering, Solder / Reflow oven profiling.
*Conformal Coating, Selective Soldering, Test, Fault Finding, Lean Manufacturing
*Organisation / Project Management, Team Management, Quality Control
*Process Improvements, New Product Introduction
*Solder paste printing, Solder Reflow
*Enthusiastic approach and looking to development your skills
*Excellent communication skills
