We are looking for fluent/native level German Procurement Manager for a fixed term contract of 6-12 months initially, to operate as a key point of contact between the UK procurement function and new German speaking partners.

The company are globally renowned for financial and data analysis and had a turnover of over $5 billion in 2020.

They have recently acquired a German company and need a German speaker to learn the existing procurement processes and policies from the UK team to implement and establish them in the new entity.

This role requires someone with strong procurement experience in managing vendor & supplier contracts, ideally experienced working with German businesses, but overall someone who is a strong communicator and will be able to effectively manage cohesion between the UK and DACH-based teams.

We can consider those that haven't worked at managerial level before, although you'll need to have worked on projects.

Owing to the pandemic, the role will initially be based remotely (equipment provided), working with the UK and DACH teams. Please be aware that in normal circumstances, the UK office is based in Nottingham and may therefore require travel and also to west Germany once permitted.

The role may also progress into a permanent role in Germany in the future, so would be suitable for those potentially looking to relocate there.
