Project Development Manager Manchester £30,000 - £35,000 I’m proud to be representing a forward thinking and dynamic business who has a primary focus on Social and Affordable housing. This is an exciting opportunity for a keen and eager individual to join a business who have experienced exciting growth over the last 12 months. The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in either Building Surveying/ Project Management or Construction Management along with 2- 3 years’ experience of running small to medium residential refurbishment projects from start to completion. As Project Development Manager, you will work closely with the Development director assisting in all areas, this is a great opportunity for someone looking development and progression. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Manage relationships with third party contractors to ensure contractors are engaged and satisfied with their workload, and that costs remain lean. Develop project plans, from idea to completion, to monitor and track progress. Externally evaluate performance of contractors in order to continually ensure optimum performance and value for money to the company Managing the day to day operation from foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant including material lead times. Continually develop own leadership skills through personal and professional development opportunities to use throughout all responsibilities. Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimise project risks. Meet with clients to take detailed briefs and assist with specific requirements of each project Measure project success and performance using the agreed metrics. Complete 12 month review of approved contractors on performance, cost & quality KPI’s. Ensure resource availability and allocation of both internal staffing and external resource to contractors is distributed according to financial plans and agreed deadlines. Develop project plans, from idea to completion, to monitor and track progress. The candidate : Must be driven, ambitious, strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities Degree in either Building Surveying/ Project Management or Construction Management End to end project lifecycle experience Full clean UK driver’s license If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please apply via the link.
