Specific Job DescriptionOn behalf of Lockheed Martin and as directed by Lockheed Martin leadership, the key activities and responsibilities of the role the creation, maintenance and statusing of AM / PC budgets.Create and maintain Asset management plans in accordance with LMUK RMS processes and procedures as well as in co-ordination with programme staff.Work with Supply Chain Management to ensure AM and Asset requirements are captured clearly, accurately and concisely within contracts. Consider asset requests for approval subject to confirming contractual authorisation.Organise, plan and track hardware / software assets on a day to day basis to meet contract requirements, maintain AM databases, processes and toolkits to ensure fully accountable and auditable records are maintained.Interface with the Change Control process to raise, submit and progress Change Proposals (CPs) and Requests (CRs) to amend asset requirements in prime contracts and subcontracts, as well as provide impact assessment for AM / PC related aspects for CRs raised by other functions etc. Work with Security, Freight and Trade Compliance to ensure the LMUK Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) accreditation is adhered to.[DN(1]Manage Government Furnished Assets (GFX)/Customer Furnished Assets (CFX) in accordance with contract requirements, LMUK RMS processes and procedures.Ensure the suitable identification and management of hardware assets by applying labels / unique marking of assets for monitoring and tracking purposes.Work with other functions of the business as necessary to ensure the required Configuration and Quality of assets (including documentation) is delivered at the right time and location to satisfy contract and business requirements, including provision of spares where these can be made availableArrange / support Loan requests as required in accordance with loan processes and LOB planning/requirements. Manage equipment upgrades, repairs and maintenance, such as calibration etc.Proactively process redundant assets for disposition in accordance with process as required.Work with programme management and other departments to maximise asset usage and cost savings.Provide Asset Management Reports and status of assets to Management, Customers and Suppliers as appropriate. Manage and support Internal and External audits as required.Identify Risks and Opportunities relating to assets and/or the business and determine mitigation strategies to reduce the level of risk.Support new business-related proposal activities requiring Asset Management inputProvide general support during colleague absence.Support the maintenance and ongoing development of Asset Management tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness to meet ongoing business needs.Administer the delivery of manufactured and Upgraded Line Replacement Units (LRUs) controlled by LM for Test, Trials and embodiment programmes, and maintain associated metrics.Produce and administer Work Orders, Routings and Repair/Rework/Retrofit Orders to support manufacturing and retrofit work, including software loads, iaw approved processes.Produce Part labels (Part Number and Concession) where applicable.Develop budgets and maintain status for Asset Management and Production Control on Merlin related ProgrammesCo-ordinate tasking for the Merlin Asset Management and Production Control teamDevelopment of Level 3 Programme level Processes and Procedures where necessary.[DN(1]Duplicate of 5th bullet aboveJob Reference Number7615BREmployee TypeFull Time Hours Per Week37.5CountryUnited Kingdom Business EnvironmentLockheed Martin UK Ltd Integrated Systems (LMUK IS) is a leading prime contractor and systems integrator responsible for a wide portfolio of high technology programmes, complex integration, training and through-life support, spanning the defence and civil sectors.
