Job Description Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a high profile business in the centre of Leeds who have an exciting opening for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their successful finance team. This large organisation based in Central Leeds, close to public transport links and in great newly refurbished offices are looking to recruit a talented Accounts Payable Clerk initially on a Fixed term basis for a period of 6 months. Our client are looking to appoint to this role as soon as is practical so if you are looking for a new role and enjoy working in a fast paced environment and are immediately available then this could be a great fit for you. This is an all round Purchase Ledger role which involves processing a high volume of invoices correctly and on time each month. You will be responsible for resolving any queries from both internal and external client supplier queries. You will also need to reconcile any supplier statements. To be successful in this role you will ideally need to have prior Purchase Ledger experience, accurate and quick typing skills, you need to have a presentable telephone manner along with experience of supplier statements. If you have already worked for a large shared service centre type organisation then that will be an added bonus. Our client offering an excellent salary, benefits, and holiday.
