At retirement property firm currently requires a Purchase Ledger Specialist to join them on a 6 month contract basis, based in Victoria. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role is accountable for the purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation. They provide a critical service to the finance team and wider business through robust processes and systems. This role will also implement the full functionality of M Files to enable an electronic P2P process and train colleagues. You will be responsible for; Configure M Files to upload electronic invoices and feed into Access Dimensions purchase ledger Matching, checking and coding invoices Build M Files automation processes and trial with a sample of villages before rolling out to the estate Making payments via BACS and cheques Processing staff expenses Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details Reconciliation of supplier statements Filing or archiving invoices Managing petty cash Data entry Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary Coding and entering Purchase Ledger invoices on Access Dimensions system Filing Purchase Ledger invoices Preparation of suggested payments lists as required on Dimensions Updating cash books on Dimensions Bank reconciliations where required (on Dimensions) Liaise with village managers as required Dealing with auditor queries Requirements For your application to qualify you will have the following; 3 years purchase ledger experience Experience with P2P digital systems Experience working with file management systems Excellent communication and team working skills Ability to work to deadlines Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature Intermediate excel skills ( Pivots tables & V look ups) Knowledge of software packages (e.g. Dimensions) Demonstrable experience of bookkeeping Benefits £30-35k on a 6 month fixed term contract.
