The Director of Nursing, Midwifery, AHPs & Acute Services is looking to recruit a Radiology Services Manager to join the Radiology Team of NHS Orkney. This is a key clinical management role which is pivotal in supporting the departments contribution to the delivery of safe, effective patient centred care within NHS Orkney. Applicants must have significant management experience with a track record of successfully working in a multidisciplinary imaging environment. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills as well as significant experience of contributing to strategy development and delivery. The total population is approximately 22,000 with most people living on the Mainland. Kirkwall, the capital, with a population of 7,500, it is the administrative centre of Orkney with a good mix of shops, supermarkets and businesses.
