Anexciting opportunity now exists to join the Commercial Team as Regional SalesManager Offline, based in our London office. Inthis role, you will provide leadership and commercial strategic focus on theregion over the development of offline traffic opportunities. You willcontinuously develop sales action plans to be implemented through local fieldsales with the objective of maximising Qatar Airways presence in offline countriesin the region, or offline points within markets where QR already operates. Youwill liaise with Head Office, Distribution, Marketing and other necessaryresources, activities and investments to develop new markets whilst observingcommercial profitability. Accountabilitiesinclude: Develop a strategyto activate and develop local agents and provide the necessary direction tolocal stations to increase sales. To identify relevantgateways, main ones and secondary ones,and leverage airline partnerships, through SPA, code shares, within oroutside alliance oneWorld Work with PRM toimplement pricing strategies (structural & promo fares, private deals) aswell as on including all the relevant routings in the fare structure (withAlliances team under PRM is involved). Recommendingoffline markets with the potential to become online. Identify, develop and grownew markets and maximize offline opportunities as they present on Qatar Airwaysexpanded network with appropriate planning and strategic development. Accountability forstrategic direction of Qatar Airways Corporate/Trade and Leisure Sales in theregion, defining the optimal way to increase sales by recommendation forroutes, timings, aircraft type and other product development. Production ofshort and medium-term local channel plan including revenue targets as a part ofintegrates sales strategy. Monitorperformance and activity of key competitors within the assigned markets andoptimize Qatar Airways resources in the region. Monitor and feedback competitorpricing and promotional activity in the region. Develop anddeliver sales revenue, maximising the return from existing offline market withincreased specific focus. Allocate offlineresponsibilities to station budget holders based on relevant and strategiccriteria. Develop and manage a network of sales channels across the territory. Develop andimplement offline sales plan for the region and assist in implementing ofmarketing plans in coordination with the Senior Vice President. Deliver and exceedset revenue targets for the region, focusing on key markets. Optimize corporatedeals, sales and marketing agreements in the area. Ensure that Qatar Airwayshas optimal market presence in marketing campaigns and public events in theregion.  Qualifications Tobe considered for this role, you will have the following: ·Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant combinedwith at least 7 years’ relevant work experience. ·Sound understanding of the aviation industry,airline marketing and regional geopolitical landscape. ·Proven ability to negotiate and work within amulti-cultural environment with excellent leadership skills. ·Experience in selling of airline, tour operators orhotel products and good knowledge of the region. Strong sales ability andfinancial acumen.  ·Experience of government and airline industryrelations. ·Budgetary and planning experience. ·Outstations experience is preferred. ·Excellent organizational, budgetary and planningskills. ·Strong leadership and excellent communicationskills. Ability to lead, set clear directions and foster positive relationshipswithin the team. Fluency in English (written and spoken)is essential for this role. You must also have the right to live andwork in the UK to be considered for this role.
