Job Description The Company Our client is an established and successful company based in Consett. They are currently looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below. The Role * Answering incoming calls into the department * Providing advice on products and quotations * Processing of all sales orders from receipt of order through to despatch of complete unit * Liaising with relevant teams with regard to sales, sales order processing and production requirements * Invoicing * Liaising with relevant teams and retailers with regard to returns * Handling of communication between the company and retailers on all aspects of sales, sales order processing, financing and despatch * Provision of accurate progress reports * Order processing of all new sales orders * Support Sales team at events * Taking and responding to retailer queries * General office administration * Any other reasonable duties as directed * Be able to organise and work in an efficient and timely manner The Person * Must have internal sales experience of 3 years+ * Professional adaptable attitude and willingness to learn, develop and take on new tasks as required * Professional calming manner when dealing with telephone calls and be able to talk at ease with our potential customers * Must be able to understand the importance of dealing with new sales leads with a quick turnaround issuing quotations * Be able to work well under pressure * Able to understand the importance of following procedures both within our company and that of our business to business customers to ensure that any feedback received is positive * Must have excellent organisational skills to enable all tasks to be completed in a timely manner * Excellent communication skills * Good attention to detail when processing data and orders etc with the ability to follow procedures and tasks through to completion * Sound computer-based skills are essential * Excellent numerical skills and be able to price accurately including discounts * Candidate must have a good level of attendance/sickness record The Benefits * Great Working Environment - a very friendly culture and team atmosphere * Ongoing role * Working with an incredibly successful organisation
