Part-time 30 hours per week over 4 days

As a School Nurse within Virgin Care in Essex you'll join a team who are focused on improving the health and wellbeing of school children and who recently received a "good" CQC rating.

Your days will be rewarding and varied and will include but not be limited to: responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: undertaking health assessments in schools, offering advice and support to children, young people and families in accordance with evidence based practice and delivering and monitoring school and community based drop-ins.You will work collaboratively within our integrated team including SCPHN School Nurses, Health Visitors, Healthy Family Support Workers and Assistants as well as a variety of other professionals to deliver the Healthy Child programme and ensure the best health outcomes for the children and families in Chelmsford.

You will be a registered nurse, midwife or mental health nurse with a caring and approachable demeanour in order to gain the trust and respect of the school students.
