Deloitte's Insurance Regulation & Strategy Team is part of the Insurance Audit Group, which provides audit, assurance, advisory and internal audit services to our clients. The Insurance Regulation & Strategy Team has specialists in: * Corporate governance; * Prudential regulation; * Conduct (covering Retail and Wholesale); * InsurTech / RegTech development and deployment; * Strategy consulting (including Regulatory strategy and Regulatory due diligence); and * Client money. Your role We are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Insurance Regulation & Strategy team in London to support the Governance and Prudential work we do with firms across the industry, including FTSE 100 insurers, insurance intermediaries, and Lloyd's and London Market insurers. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert in prudential regulation, working closely with the lead Director for this area within the team. As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for: * Driving client targeting initiatives, including creating and developing propositions to reflect the changing needs of our clients', and presenting proposals to clients. * Leading the delivery of Governance engagements, providing high quality advisory and assurance services to our clients. * Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior members of clients' Executive Management. * Engagement with regulators sharing Deloitte insights. * Training and developing more junior members of the team. * Practice management, including preparing budgets, resourcing and client billing Your work, your choice How long does impact take? Location: London Suggested work pattern: Permanent full-time Your professional experience * A background in prudential regulation (ideally experience working at or with the PRA), or in a Risk and Regulatory team at another professional services firm or within the insurance industry. * Exposure to PRA regulation and supervision, and sound knowledge of Solvency II Pillar 2. * Confident client presence and ability to build contacts and develop relationships. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal. * Experience in delivering presentations and pitches. * Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexible thinking. * Strong team leadership skills and proven ability to lead challenging projects and large teams. * Aptitude with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Positive and ambitious attitude, and ability to work on own initiative. Qualifications and skills * Educated to degree level or equivalent required. * Additional professional qualifications preferred.
