Closing Date - 30/11/2020 Festival UK* 2022 is seeking 2 x Senior Producers to lead on the development, planning and delivery of ten large scale cross disciplinary creative commissions as part of Festival UK* 2022. This is an exciting opportunity to shape an evolving project, within a fast-paced environment
Lead on the development and delivery of new Commissions for Festival UK* 2022, overseeing the development, planning and delivery of projects in partnership with co-commissioning and producing partners in a highly devolved delivery model.
Manage relationships with commissioning and producing partners across the UK, developing strong working relationships with creative partners, artists and other partner organisations to facilitate the delivery of work.
Negotiate and draft commissioning contracts and briefs.
Manage delegated commissioning budgets within the organisation's financial controls.
Develop, monitor and report on progress against project milestones, timelines and evaluation criteria.
Ensure that all project activity is carried out to the highest possible standard and that any events, programmes and activities are in full compliance of Health & Safety requirements.
Champion representation, accessibility and inclusion across the commissioning process.
Skills and Experience Required
Relevant professional industry experience.
Strong knowledge of the creative commissioning process and experience of working across different producing and commissioning models
Understanding of multi-partner commissioning and delivery
Working knowledge of all parts of production, delivery and audience development and communications
Experience of financial and budget management for large-scale, complex creative programmes of work
Strong existing networks and contacts within the creative industries
Up to date knowledge of Industry Inclusion and Diversity Practices
Experience of delivering projects involving new, emerging or creative technologies
