For this Service Desk role, it is your customer service and soft skills that are key. We are seeking a person with a level of maturity, able to communicate confidently and fluently with senior stake holders. The Service Desk delivers top quality customer service, to high calibre users, using both Apple Mac OS and Windows devices. Mature and able to work on your own initiative (with guidance where needed) you will provide an outstanding level of customer service, as you deliver 1st and 2nd line support, via the service desk, to circa 1,000 internal users. The service desk, 1st/2nd line support services, are provided by phone, email, remotely, deskside, walk-ups, and techbar. You will have service desk support technical skills with, Windows 7/10, Apple Mac OS, Active Directory, Outlook 2016, Office 2010/2013. Duties will cover 1st and 2nd line support, with phones, projectors, AV equipment, printers, Windows PC and Apple Mac builds & configuration, and all end user devices. Active Directory (AD) user management, permissions, and user attributes. Daily support checks and other ad hoc support duties as required. Salary range is circa £28,000-£30,000, plus a huge benefits package including private medical, life insurance, income protection, pension, 25 days holiday (with option to buy up to 10 more), and a bonus.
