As a business-critical function, you will work alongside your Accounts Payable colleagues with responsibility for the validation, processing, and payment production activities which ensure our internal and external customer expectations are met, financial controls are operating, and our financial assets are safeguarded. \n\n \n\n Job Specification \n\n \n\n • Prepare, check and validate financial records and documents in accordance with controls to mitigate financial risk and errors • Process financial transactions in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure they are accurate, compliant and SLA’s are met • Update and maintain system records in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing • Report and review financial data and information to meet statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements and ensure this is accurate, in the correct format and delivered in the required timescales • Investigate and prioritise internal and external customer queries to ensure they are resolved timely and effectively, and a high-quality customer service is maintained • Review and update processes and procedures in line with internal system and regulatory changes, to ensure there is a consistent approach and to mitigate risk \n\n \n\n Person Specification \n\n \n\n Encourages team work and takes personal responsibility for achieving personal targets and common goals for the business • Ability to manage and progress new tasks by adapting approach to meet organisational requirements • Builds good relationships with both internal and external customers through listening to their requirements and responding to meet their needs • Manages own work effectively, contributes to overall team performance and takes advantage of personal development opportunities to achieve results • You must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English Language at Grade C or above • Experience of working with Microsoft Office package, with good understanding of basic Excel operations • Experience and knowledge of the Purchase Order process is desirable but not essential \n\n \n\n Qualifications/Other \n\n \n\n We pride ourselves on being a great place to work, so along with a supportive culture and ongoing development opportunities, you can also look forward to some very attractive benefits.
