Six Sigma Black Belt (Supply Chain & Distribution)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Six Sigma Black Belt to join a forward-thinking Global Organisation that provide innovative solutions across multiple industries. Employing over 17,000 people in 50 different countries.

This role of the Six Sigma Black Belt is to support the Logistics and Distribution teams in optimising distribution activities within the Supply Chain by implementing continuous improvement techniques and mathematical optimisation methods. Specifically targeting process efficiency projects in network optimisation, transport scheduling, maintenance planning, haulier contract management, driver efficiency programs, distribution sustainability projects and supply chain inventory management. 
  
Role Responsibilities:

To drive productivity and work process efficiency improvements in the following areas:

Network optimisation
Transport scheduling
Vehicle maintenance activities
Haulier contract management
Driver efficiency programs
Distribution sustainability
Inventory management
Digitalisation projects
Contribute to change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives

Benchmarking studies
Support effective management reporting apps
Coaching of Green Belt trainees.

Experience and Qualifications:

Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certified and practical experiences.
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Research or Mathematics.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in distribution or supply chain optimisation.
Good knowledge of SAP (supply chain), operations research techniques, Minitab and Qlik analytics platforms.
Experience in Project Management
Language Skills: fluent in English, Spanish and French are a plus.
Analytical and methodical mindset with an eagerness to learn and improve.
The ability to influence individuals and drive peak performance.
Ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation.
