At the forefront of that effort, in Europe, sits our WFS Marketing team – a collective of talented individuals managing the media & marketing strategy, reporting, modelling & analytics, tools & systems. Our goal is attracting hundreds of thousands of associates yearly for various operational business lines (fulfilment centres, transportation, and logistics).We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts for the UK. A self-starter to deploy new and exciting strategies to hire over 50,000 Amazon Associates per year. This role will encompass both strategic and operational elements, they will report to the Head of Marketing & Employer Branding - WFS, EU, work alongside other regional marketing leads, the tech & systems and analytics teams.ROLE OVERVIEWStrategically, we expect this role to develop and drive a holistic marketing strategy to support UK businesses for Associate hiring. Our goal is enabling long-term growth to attract new hourly associates for various operational business lines at Amazon. We expect this role to have an extensive experience in performance marketing, drive strategies and execution. Thinking out of the box is an asset in this role.Operationally, we expect this role to own marketing creation, deployment and execution. With this comes developing KPIs and analytics to understand campaign effectiveness. We want to learn and fail fast – taking what worked well for forward. TLeading candidates will have in depth experience in marketing and excel in strategy design, data analytics, team leadership and an ability to influence.Basic qualifications· Experience managing a budget across multiple countries· Experienced in performance marketing such as Social, Programmatic, Search or/and in traditional media channels with at least 5 years of people management· Experiences in media buying (digital/offline media channels)· Passionate advocate for candidate experience; the candidate constantly thinks about how to improve the experience for candidates (consumers) within a high-volume hiring environment· Strong command and understanding of data, analytics, reporting· Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to external stakeholders (agencies) as well as with various internal stakeholders like Finance, PR, HR and Recruiting· Managing various external suppliers (e.g. media agencies)· Working in a multilingual team with English as the main language for daily communication· Willingness to travel across Europe and cooperation with a global team· Ability to identify process weaknesses and suggest improvements, strong bias for action· Managerial experience is a plus - hire and develop the bestPreferred qualification · Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR or equivalent· Experience in marketing for human resources (employer branding or talent sourcing and acquisition)· Solution oriented, data driven and proactive· Professional traits that are not unique to this position, but necessary for Amazon leaders: exhibit excellent judgement; hire and develop great people; relentlessly high standards; thinks strategically but stay on top of tactical execution; expect and require innovation of her/his team; thinks big and has conviction; results-oriented; has the innate ability to inspire passion in others; is able to work with remote managementAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
