Social Work Team ManagerAssessment ServiceBuckinghamshire CouncilPermanent£51,394- £61,051£2,125 Golden HelloBuckinghamshire Council are looking for a strong, strategic and relationship focused Social Work Team Manager to manage the Chiltern and South Buckinghamshire assessment team in children's services. Under the direction of a forward-thinking and dynamic Head of Service and through a systemic approach to professional service development, the assessment teams have gone through a period of change which has included a full review of their services.Everyone within the team has an important role in the Improvement Journey and is encouraged to share ideas, to be solution focused and bring about positive change. This is a real opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the service, to be heard and to make a real difference with your ideas shaping the future for the children and families the service supports.The team consists of 2 Assistant Team Managers and 10 social workers and your primary focus will be to strategically lead the team to improving outcomes for children and young people in the county of Buckinghamshire.Your main duties will be to lead, manage and supervise social work practice, maintain management oversight of case work, allocate cases and monitor the performance of social workers through your assistant team managers and promote best practice across the service.You will be a Social Work Team Manager with experience managing front line teams within children's services. You'll be adept at building relationships and trust with your social workers and multi-agencies.
