Job Title: Software Support ConsultantLocation: Brierley Hill, DudleySalary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annumJob Type: Full Time, PermanentThis expanding global business has offices in the UK, Omaha-Nebraska, Louisville, California and Melbourne, Australia. With a focus on facilities management, security and building service the Company develops financial, operations and workforce management solutions for contractors with distributed workforces of any size. The efficiency-enhancing technology transforms business management and drives profitability. They are currently seeking talented application support professionals to join a collaborative, friendly team supporting market leading SaaS based enterprise applications based in the West Midlands.The Support team are the primary interface with their clients when they have technical issues affecting their ability to use their products.Delivery of a consistently high quality support service which exceeds client expectations is critical to the overall success of the business.The key purpose of the role is to:Deliver a professional and technically expert support service to their clientsDevelop technical skills to be able to support their software productsSeek to identify improvement opportunities that will enhance their support offeringWork as an effective member of the support team and contribute positively to departmental objectivesKey the highest professional standards at all timesMaking a positive contribution to, and being a productive member of their software support teamMaintaining personal skills currency to ensure the ability to support new product features when releasedStriving to deliver continuous improvement in their support serviceStriving to exceed client expectations in all interactionsEnsuring clear and effective communication both to clients and within the businessFollowing defined process when handling client issuesHandling an appropriate volume of work that both supports the team goals and satisfies personal objectivesProviding support and assistance to team members both technically and operationally as requiredCarrying out planned change and upgrade activitiesParticipating in the Out Of Hours rota on an on-call rotaCandidate RequirementsAt least 5 years previous experience and proven capability of working in a pressured customer service application support environmentDemonstrate a good level of generic technical capability and methodical problem resolution skillsProfessionalism and Excellent customer serviceHighly Motivated, Self-drivenAbility to prioritise workloadPositive contributor and team playerAbility to learnAbility to work under pressureITIL Understanding2nd language preferable but not mandatoryWhy join them?The company believes that their people are key to their reputation for innovative solutions and quality service.
