Job Start Date: 1st September 2020

Story Wood School is a welcoming, vibrant school and we are looking to appoint an experienced

Teaching Assistant to support children in a classroom environment, including those with special educational needs. Experience of working with pupils with specific learning needs and/or sensory impairment would be advantageous. You will be confident working with small groups of children across both Key Stages. It is important that you are an effective team worker and committed to developing exciting learning experiences for the children. You will have good oral and written skills and be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents and be committed to caring for children's needs. In return Story Wood School can offer enthusiastic learners who respond to good teaching in a positive working atmosphere. We are committed to continuing to raise standards and move the school forward.
