We research and develop for basic human needs: Our devices ensure quality of life and are used when it comes to water, food, education, health, the environment, climate, energy or product quality.Elementar UK, part of the Elementar Group, is responsible for the sales and support of the expanding range of Elemental Analysers and related instruments in the UK as well as being an award-winning manufacturer of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer (IRMS) systems covering a diverse and exciting range of applications. Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester where our facilities are for building, testing and servicing our instrumentation as well as housing a full R&D team, we have an exciting position for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing workforce. The successful candidate will work within the sales and marketing team to generate sustainable and profitable growth based on sales of the Elementar products and services.Working with the latest development tools in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to learn new skills and keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, influencing how they are applied across the product range.Duties & Responsibilities Develop and increase sales by identifying key customers and key applications based on our technologiesPresent commercial and technical sales arguments to potential customersTake responsibility for complete sales cycle from prospecting through to successful sale and on-going positive relationship with customersProvide feedback on trends and developments in target markets to Product Managers and Sales ManagerReport sales activities and prepare quarterly sales forecastsDevelop a business plan together with the Sales ManagerPrepare and manage arrangements for customer demonstrationsWork with support and service staff to ensure excellent after-sales experience for all usersAssist with IRMS sales activities in the UKExperience, Essential Skills and Person Degree in scientific or engineering subject or equivalent experience Post-degree experience of scientific instrumentationPreferably scientific sales experience or well-developed understanding of commercial environments Understanding of advantages and uses of CRM system Familiarity with strategic sales process for managing complex salesClear and confident communicatorGood logical and analytical abilitiesExcellent negotiating and reasoning skillsStrong communication with excellent prospecting and customer acquisition skills Able to work independently and self-motivate to achieve goalsExcellent IT SkillsAdditional Information Competitive salary & company incentive scheme25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and life assuranceWilling to travel extensively in UK and occasionally overseasRemote working?
