The Department of Sports Development and Recreation are seeking to appoint a Tennis Manager on a full-time basis. The role is based at the inspiring £35m Sports Training Village where world class athletes develop their skill and become champions. The purpose of the role is to deliver on a number of key Tennis programmes namely the performance pathway, University tennis and delivery of events plus much more. Team Bath Tennis International High-Performance Academy which will include working with players of all ages. You will be working with young regional, national, University and international players on and off court. Working within the tennis team you will work in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams. This means close work with performance tennis coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, other sports science professionals and clinic administration staff daily, therefore excellent communication skills are required. You are required to be level 3 or SPC accredited and have proven successful experience working with a range of tennis players and programmes. Working in performance sport will require you to work flexible hours in line with athletes training schedules, this may include early morning, evening and weekend work. You will also need to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
