Our client seeks an ambitious second jobber who is looking to shift career paths and establish themselves within the recruitment industry.
What is a second jobber?Someone who is already on a graduate scheme within management consultancy, a law firm or investment bank etc Someone currently in their first sales role An estate agent with a successful track record within sales/lettings A recruitment consultant who wants to switch firms/sectors
Company : A high-end, market leading recruitment consultancy firm located in the heart of London. They are looking for highly driven, ambitious professionals to join their team of high performing consultants. Existing consultants are currently billing on average £28,000 per month and with exciting growth plans could soon become some of the highest earning recruiters in the industry. They currently have offices in London, New York, Munich and Hong Kong and have plans to open 2 new locations in Dubai and Amsterdam by 2018. They primarily recruit into the Technology, Professional Services and Finance sectors however have recently diversified and set up two new teams in very buoyant markets; Cyber Security and Renewable Energy. (They are hiring across all markets)

The Package – Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Second JobberBasic salary of £25,000 Lucrative uncapped commission structure 1st year earnings OTE – £40,000+ Fast-paced career progression Fantastic incentive schemes; free dinners/lunches in Michelin starred restaurants, all expenses paid 5* holidays, yearly ski trips, free gym memberships etc.
Realistic Salary and OTE of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Second Jobber
We expect you to take home between £35,000 and £50,000 in your first year, year 2 in excess of £60,000, year 3 in excess of £90,000.
Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Key Attributes:
A trainee recruitment consultant should possess most, if not all, of the following:Currently on a graduate scheme/in a sales position Relevant commercial experience (ideally in a sales environment) University degree 2:2/2:1 minimum (ideal but not mandatory) Natural communicator Financially driven (you are in control of your earnings) Extremely ambitious Competitive flair (our clients love sporty individuals who have competed at a high level)

You will be responsible for:Business development; pitching to company directors and winning new business Account management; maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients Sourcing high calibre candidates; proactive headhunting, networking, via job board Becoming a consultative sales person Taking control of your earnings Building a successful career with the prospect of becoming a Director in 5-7 years
