Permanent full time Veterinary Surgeon Selby (VETSEEK-0866) We are recruiting for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join a small animal practice Selby in a lead vet role position. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with some weekends on a rota basis however there is no ooh. The team comprises of 1 Vet, 3 Nurse and supporting team. The practice is in Selby which is commutable from both Leeds and York and has great transport links. The practice has state of the art equipment and offers modern veterinary services and facilities. About the role This role offers a career steppingstone for a veterinary surgeon who would like to take the next step and be at the forefront of a practice and be an integral part of its future development. Plenty of support is available and areas of special interest are encouraged and funded with a great CPD allowance. They require the lead veterinary surgeon to be confident in all areas of routine surgeries and consultations and sole charge work. The vet will be required to give input into the practice to enable it to be at the forefront of clinical thinking and to continue the ethos of the business which is putting pets first. Excellent customer service skills are key, and they must be able to develop good working relationships with both clients and fellow members of the team. This is crucial to create a happy working environment and delivery excellent customer service to all clients.
