Overall O role seeks, primarily, to assist in developing and implementing strategies to attain, and subsequently retain, advocacy of our investment services by the institutional investment consultants in the UK (and Europe where appropriate).Secondly, the implementation of strategies which will result in the optimal alignment of our investment capabilities with local market needs by understanding the priorities of consultants, their clients and the institutional marketplace.Key attributes required for this role include a resilient, proactive personality with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail. The candidate should possess a strong knowledge of the asset management industry and investment products. The person must be deadline driven, able to manage competing demands and have strong influencing and relationship management skills.Prime manage day-to-day relationships with key institutional consultants and retail researchers within the UK marketplace with the objective of cultivating support for our product suite and strengthening the AB brand;To build advocacy for our domestic, regional and global services (via the research teams) and increasing product usage (via field consultants);Collaborating with the global consultant relations and business development teams to ensure consistency in product messaging and execution of global strategy;Assisting in identifying trends and potential new business opportunities through regular dialogue with field consultants and/or researchers and keeping the broader sales and investments teams informed of any such dialogue.Conducting regular S.W.O.T analysis for existing services and new product initiatives to help prioritize new business activity (including assessing the appetite for such services, soliciting initial feedback from the field and ensuring feedback is provided to the Product Development and Product Management teams); Contribute to progressing business development opportunities for existing and prospective clients for AB products across all asset classes by providing product and messaging support to the sales and business development teams; Contribute to strategy and business development projects on a as needs basis.London, UK
