As with any coastal town comes tourists, tour guides, museum assistants and retail assistants can find endless opportunities in the city. 

Southampton University and Southampton Solent provide jobs for researchers, administration staff as well as doctors and professors. With many university students come many graduate schemes in sectors like finance and media.
