Location: Norton College, Tewkesbury, GL20 8UQ

Salary:      £22,000 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours:      37.5 hours per week | Monday-Friday | 8.30am-4.00pm

Contract:  Permanent, Term time only

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days will ever be the same! You’ll:

  • Support engaging, hands-on learning that builds confidence and curiosity
  • Prepare resources and assist with classroom activities, bringing lessons to life
  • Encourage communication, independence, and personal growth in every pupil
  • Provide emotional and physical support with patience, empathy, and care
  • Create a safe, positive, and nurturing space where pupils can flourish
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists, learning and developing every step of the way

You’ll have guidance, support, and the chance to build valuable skills — while watching your pupils (and yourself) grow in confidence and achievement.

Role & Responsibilities:
Design, build and deployment of equipment used across a range of different industries

Design complex machinery in line with customer requirements, schedules and budgets

Develop electronic hardware including PCB layout and circuit diagrams

Lead verification testing, integration activities and calibration procedures

Generate technical documentation, participate in design reviews, creating technical specifications


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering

Experience with LabVIEW & Microsoft packages

First point of contact for new and existing client. Assists with ensuring vetting applications progress through the vetting process expeditiously. Main Responsibilities: 

  1. Answer customer support messages promptly and professionally to enhance the customer service experience.
  2. Resolve client problems or signpost them to the appropriate person to address their needs.

  4. Learn the functions of CoreVet and responds efficiently and effectively to customer complaints, concerns or feedback where it is within your capacity to do so.

Person Specification: 

Knowledge:

  • 5 A-C grade GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English language
  • Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Service (or be willing to study and pass within the probation period)

Experience:

  • Working as part of a team and providing excellent customer service

Key Skills:

  • Competent in the use of IT including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) and databases
