Business Development - Ticketing Solutions

In this role you will be at the front line representing our client - a leading UK provider of transport ticketing solutions, trusted by millions of passengers to get them where they need to be. Their solutions can be found throughout the UK, processing over half a billion transactions a year.
You will have the ability to create, develop, and apply an effective sales strategy. Your goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales, identifying and winning new business, whilst forging strong relationships with clients. You will be managing the current client base whilst solution selling additional products and services into both existing and new customers.
Specifically the role will involve:
Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Achieving company targets for growth and development within nominated accounts
Identifying new markets and customer needs
Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
Promoting the companys solutions which address clients needs and objectives
Preparing sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keeping records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Providing feedback and after-sales support
Delivering solutions that drive usage in line with the wider sales targets
Continuing to deliver end to end customer experience through proactive account management
Developing effective relationships with internal and external customers
Seeking and using customer feedback to improve the level of service offered
Ensuring that customer solutions are effectively delivered
Your passion and drive are really important to a role such as this but in terms of experience you should be able to demonstrate:
Extensive experience of successfully selling and delivering sales solutions within a B2B environment
Experience in complex solution based sales
A record of over-achievement against target in an account management role
Previous experience of engaging and operating at all levels to drive through sales
Face to face customer engagement experience at all levels
Commercial acumen and sound business understanding
This role does provide a development opportunity for someone who can bring some of the required experience but can impress in terms of energy and determination !
