Community Engagement Officer required to work in the Yardley district.

Your new role
As a Community Engagement Officer you'll be working in the Yardley district. As a Community Engagement Officer, you will be undertaking outreach work in order to improve communication across the district with communities. Increasing engagement and take up of services and improving the well being of families by building partnerships with organisations amongst the community such as, local businesses, schools, health providers, religious institutions etc. You will be giving the community a voice by engaging with families and young people to help establish community needs. As well as developing and implementing creative ways to fix gaps in service and then signpost families to relevant services, contacting families and organisations to gain information and understand community needs. You will be part of the allocation meetings, recording information on the database and sharing outcomes and actively engaging and giving feedback to organisations involved. Making effective links to the City-Wide Parent Forum and liaising directly to the Patient Experience Lead.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience in working with multi-agency including Social Services, Social Workers or Health Care Professions, and you must be able to build and maintain relationships with partners in the community, as well as having experience working directly with families.
