The Education Account Manager will contribute independent new sales and renewals of the Company’s internationally recognised IT certifications and learning solutions to multiple market segments (within education).


Reporting to the COO, this role would ideally suit an individual with 5 years plus experience within the EdTech sector or in a commercial role in education and involves working with some of the world’s leading technology brands.

Primary Responsibilities


Business Development (60%)
Build and execute on our B2B education business development strategy within a key region
Initiate, cultivate and manage relationships with further and higher education course leaders, module leaders and department heads up to PVC / CEO level to close new business
Educate existing and prospective education customers in the region about Prodigy Learning’s credential products
Create a strong brand presence and engagement at education conferences, sector skills meetings and other relevant events (in-person or online)
Communicate Prodigy Learning’s vision to course leaders, module leaders and department heads across the territory
Use CRM and other internal systems and tools to track and forecast sales opportunities and record account interaction
Account Management (30%)
Build long term relationships with customers and close annual renewals
Collaborate with customer stakeholders to project manage and implement digital skills programmes within degree and further education courses for full or part time delivery
Collaborate with customer stakeholders and colleagues to create compelling content including case studies and blog posts
Other Duties as Assigned (10%)

Experience & Qualifications
5+ years relevant sales / commercial experience in the education sector essential (working in technology sales to education or in a commercial role in the education sector)
Proven record of meeting commercial goals in the education sector
Experience with shaping and making a market
Experience with product launches/launching new brands
Experience managing and nurturing partnerships
Strong education network preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
Knowledge of computer systems, CRMs, and Office apps required
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification an advantage
Full Driving License


Location
Prodigy Learning’s local office is in London with overseas offices in Ireland, Australia and the United States. This role will predominantly be remote (work from home) with travel to meet clients, to attend sales events and to support our key partner activities a requirement. An individual who is based in the South of England is desired but not essential. Flexibility with working hours will be required to meet and contribute to sales meetings and activities with the international sales team.

Performance Targets
In this role it will be expected that the individual will manage their own pipeline to meet their own monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. Individual incentives include a quarterly bonus and an annual accelerator for meeting quarterly and annual goals.
