Housing Needs Officer - Temporary Accommodation Support - Driver Required - From £10.69 per hour - Birmingham
Your new company
You will be working with Birmingham City Council, the largest council in Europe to help support them and the increasing need for them to support the Birmingham community with housing accommodation with those who are homeless.
Your new role
Your role as a Housing Needs Officer will be to help support those who are currently residing in B&Bs/Hotels to move into more temporary accommodation which is both more practical for the families but also more cost effective for the council in helping them tackle the current housing and homeless crisis.
What you'll need to succeed
No previous housing experience is required. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and warming support to those who are experiencing the move. This is a busy role that requires a lot of travelling around the region so you must be a fully licensed driver with access to your own car. Mileage will be paid out for this role.
What you'll get in return
This role provides excellent exposure, not only to work for Birmingham City Council but also into Housing where the needs and opportunities arising are becoming more regular and a surge in candidates within this market is also important. This vacancy is ongoing with no current end date in site.
