Who we are
At AiCore, we don’t want to live in a world where the only option for getting hired is by having ‘years of experience’. We deliver short specialist courses focused on job readiness that have a huge impact on the prospect of landing your dream career and we are convinced people can thrive if they are provided with the right guidance. Our industry-aligned curriculum connects the dots from academia to industry to produce employment-ready candidates. We are proud to serve hundreds of learners every year.
We partner with world-leading universities and companies to help students bridge their skills gaps. It means for the first time graduates can apply to a job with the experience requested on a job spec.
Our flagship product is our Alt-Masters programme. Powered by our faculty, hundreds of students enrol to develop the Ai & Data skills needed to land jobs they love. Over 2000+ hours of teaching have been delivered through the programme with 94% of students saying they would recommend AiCore to a friend, and we are backed by some of the
country’s best technology businesses.
We're on a mission to build the world's most student centric school. You'll be part of a world class teaching team, who celebrate great teaching, innovate in the delivery of education, and champion our students. We're evolving rapidly, and you'll be expected to keep up with the pace, to help us to innovate and to improve the school by contributing in all areas that you can. You'll help our team to run massive community events and help the students hack on industry relevant projects. We want to empower you to be a rockstar teacher, so you'll be fully supported by the school's resources and backed by our brand. If you're interested in changing people's lives by empowering them with the skills to build industry standard AI systems, from end-to-end, you should join our team.
As a teacher at AiCore, you'll be responsible for remotely teaching a cohort of up to 20 students. Throughout the course, students will build an industry standard AI pipeline from scratch. This incorporates a huge range of tools. You're not expected to know them all, but you are expected to be able to learn what you don't know, and walk the walk by demonstrating practical skills and debugging, live to students.
Students will be able to book individual office hours with you to get technical or personal support. For each group in a cohort, we also run weekly group office hours. In group office hours, you'll guide the group to share their progress and struggles and keep them accountable for progress. You'll also be required to provide actionable feedback to students for each of the projects that they work on throughout the course.
We are building the world's most industry informed syllabus on AI, based on skills companies are using in the real world. As part of your work, you'll drive us towards this goal by initiating conversations with industry experts from ours and your network to find out what skills are in demand. Then you'll integrate them into the curriculum by improving the content and developing challenges, assignments and assessments.
Why you might be excited about us
We're working to solve a massive global problem and help people achieve their dream career outcome. If you're passionate about empowering people to change their futures, you'll love helping build our product.
We're small, so you'll be able to contribute efficiently and without bureaucracy. You'll quickly have responsibility over big areas of our product.
We don't have a ton of meetings. If we can effectively solve a problem asynchronously, we do. When we do meet synchronously, you'll always have the opportunity to contribute.
You'll be able to work remotely. We don't micro-manage and will help you do great work.
We'll mould your role to shape a career you're excited about. We care a ton about your satisfaction and job happiness, and will help prep you for whatever you're looking for in the future.
Why you might not be excited about us
We're small (~7 people in the company now), so if you like more established companies, it's not (yet) the right time. You'll help build our company's culture.
Since we're an early stage startup, projects and priorities may shift.
We can't (yet) provide close mentorship for juniors. As we grow, we'll get a lot better at this.
Since you'll have a lot of responsibility and creativity over projects, they may not be defined perfectly initially. You'll be expected to bring your own experience and perspective to help us do the right things, and raise flags if you think we should do things differently.

1. Meet us and learn about AiCore
You'll first talk to Haron (over phone) for ~15 minutes and won't need to prepare anything in advance. The goal of this conversation is to make sure you understand what the role is, that the logistics work for you and a chance for you to ask any questions about our company, team culture, and product.
2. Technical interview
Everyone has different strengths, and we want you to do your best work. Our goal is to figure out your technical aptitude, how you teach and what kind of support you would need from us in this.
To prepare, you should choose any topic from our curriculum and prepare a 15 minute lesson for it which you will deliver to Harry. You can use any content you find online, your own content or even no content. You should choose a topic you think you will be able to deliver a great lesson in.
3. Interview with the founders
You will have a longer, in-depth conversation with each Haron, Harry and Christian individually. This is so we can get to know you and mutually explore if we might be a good fit for each other. You won't need to prepare anything in advance.
This is primarily used to get a better feel for your experience, how you work, and where you may fit in.
4. Reference conversations
We will talk to a few people you've worked with before to learn more about how we can best work with you. We expect to hear great things, so this is primarily to figure out how we can work with you as effectively as possible.
