Pre-Sales Consultants- SaaS
Location: WFH UK based (with some travel to Nottingham)
Salary: \u00A335-55,000 + benefits + great career opportunities
In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to our Clients future customer base. Using your pre-sales service expertise and consulting skills you will demonstrate a portfolio of their products to prospective Clients from global market leaders to smaller organisations. Youll have the capability to flex your style to the audiences youll be demonstrating to Clients anywhere in the world we therefore require some flexibility in your working day. You will aid the increase in sales performance by working directly with their sales teams to identify, develop, and present SaaS strategies to clients using the latest messaging techniques.
The main role of the consultant will be to support the Sales Process by demonstrating the software business value and gaining the technology buy-in from the prospective customer. The consultant will need to perform all Pre-Sales activities required to sell solution to customers. The goal is to have the consultant self-sufficient as much as possible and ultimately become a product expert.
The role:
Understand the software product fully and its applicability to the industry.
Demonstrate the system in pre-sales situations, including personalizing it for the prospect with their data and processes.
Supporting the sales community for product demonstrations
Create ROIs for prospects.
Respond collaboratively with sales to RFPs and RFIs.
Analyse\/understand business requirements (process\/use cases flow mapped to software features).
Conduct IT architecture and HW & SW requirement discussions, including hosting options.
Provide feedback to Product Management teams for customer and prospect enhancements.
Work with Marketing to help promote the solution through webinars, white papers, etc.
Qualification of opportunities with the sales team
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, contributing to Product Lifecycle meetings
Supporting with bid responses (contributing and reviewing)
Providing Case Studies and Customer references to Product Marketing
You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ambassador to your clients, internal partners, and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
The people:
Degree educated or equivalent
Experience of Pre-Sales in a SaaS business.
Experience in software pre-sales, sales or service delivery experience
Ability to demonstrate the product to the level of technical expert
Ability to learn and understand technical concepts
Organisation and Time Management skills
Excellent Presentation and Communication skills.
In addition to supporting customer deployments, our ideal hire may be involved in some post-sales situations to help with project activities, so comfort and experience with post-sales customer interaction would be preferred.
A \"sales\" \/ upselling attitude and the ability to deal with customers and handle customer situations alone as much as possible will be key.
Operating like a small team within a larger company, so our ideal hire will act with a real sense of initiative and autonomy to deal with everyday situations.
Our ideal hire will be expected to travel to customer sites from time to time
