What you’ll be doing
As an Account Manager at Modern Networks, you are the face of the business, driving our success and performance. You’ll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and maximising
relationships with our key enterprise customers, supporting with their IT strategy, positioning new services, and growing our reoccurring revenues to meet our ambitious business goals.
Our account organisations are highly collaborative - we work with our customers to bring new technology to new challenges. This means your role is to work with them to define business goals and new business models as well as support them to leverage and scale the use of our technology.
You’ll be tackling problems and opportunities in collaborative and logical ways and consistently brainstorming alternative solutions both with partners and internally.
What makes you a great fit
You’re passionate about 2 things – technology and people. Anything else you bring to the party is a bonus!
You can speak IT – as a trusted advisor for our customers you need to be able to have meaningful discussions with IT directors and decision makers, clearly showing them how Modern Networks can add value to their business.
Maybe you come from a pre-sales background, or you’re an out and out account manager – either is fine with us!
You're already familiar with the Microsoft stack, but you enjoy learning new technologies and how they can deliver customer value
You're eager to understand a product roadmap as well as customer needs and triangulate between the two
You put the customer first. We need people that will call when they say they will and go the extra mile to find the right solution.
You’re a great communicator – you’ll be the first point of contact for call commercial and service decisions.
Your attention to detail is second to none – part of the job is creating quotations and proposals so we need someone who can get it right every time.
You’re process driven –– some of the work we do can be pretty complex, with the added excitement of tight deadlines, so we need people who can follow the plan.
You’re a collaborator – you’ve done the groundwork and have handed over to our delivery team but you’re still on hand to troubleshoot.
You’re a team player – you’re probably a really experienced professional, so we’d like to harness that and get you to help with mentoring and guiding the next generation of you’s!
