I am representing my client - who is a large engineering Company based in Fife and North of London who deal with a large variety of blue-chip Global telecommunications companies. They are looking for a senior Business Development Manager to support the relationship with several of their current clients as well as developing the portfolio and bringing in new customers.
They are looking for a very driven, entrepreneurial individual who will effectively run these accounts like their own personal business and be responsible for the P&L, growth, KPIs and strategic direction of their allocated accounts whilst reporting directly to the Vice President of the Division Your Tasks :
* Responsible for several major telecommunications customers across Europe
* Lead revenue and margin improvement programs
* Identify and drive new business opportunities
* Lead new product and new project implementations for your customers
* Develop network of contacts (existing and new) across Europe
* Ensuring performance and quality according to customer and business requirements
* Responsible for growing and developing these telecommunications business partnerships
* Driving internal and external business partners ensuring business excellence
* Develop with the VP Division the product strategy to ensure sustainable business models
* Delivery and ownership of business cases ensuring the right levels of sign off are in place
* Responsibility for KPI excellence and daily KPI reporting
* Reporting to the Vice President of the telecommunications division
Your Qualifications :
* Relevant University degree or comparable qualification or alternative experience
* Demonstrable experience in both commercial and operational areas of the telecommunications industry.
* Experience in operating in a European role and willingness to travel for a significant amount of time
* Leadership and management skills
* Ability to analyses innovative business processes, to develop and present service solutions
* Ability to communicate well on various levels of management
* Ability to work in an international team, to take the initiative and to self-manage
* Technical background would be advantageous but not essential
* Entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
* Proactive, hands-on problem-solving ability
* Commitment to performance excellence
