Senior Digital Account Manager

This is an opportunity for a Senior Digital Account Managerto join a mid-sized, vibrant, and entrepreneurially led, fully integrated agency based on the outskirts of Manchester. It will also offer right individual to progress to a Digital Account Director role within 12 months as you will be in prime position to help build their digital marketing offering.
The role:
You will work on client sectors ranging from financial services, logistics and transport, professional services & technology to fintech, publishing, construction and education. This role will suit a digital generalist with solid experience in delivering campaigns that drive results and youll know your way around the different channels, Google Analytics and AdWords and, will be in your zone drafting reports based on activity and recommendations to continually improve results. Key to this role is to support in the management and optimisation of social advertising, paid search and re-marketing campaigns. Youll be working in tandem with their clients, client services and creative teams, ensuring the seamless transition of campaigns. You will be involved in all stages of project development from brief taking, to research, plan development, execution and evaluation.
You will be responsible for delivering insightful and effective digital campaigns, ensuring key performance metrics are achieved. You will drive accounts forward, building client trust and playing a key role in the strategy development and tactical implementation of campaigns across all major networks i.e., Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Bing etc. Social media campaign development experience is not essential but would be advantageous to your application.
What were looking for:
Were looking for a digital marketing whizz, who has a bit of a thing for all things search - paid and organic - and youll understand how to mastermind a website project which aligns with a customer journey and delivers meaningful conversions. Youll be confident thinking across different digital channels and will understand what a digital marketing strategy needs to achieve to deliver return on client investment.
Digital marketing experience (ideally b2b), with a minimum of 3-4 years experience working within an agency or business-to-business in-house marketing environment. Able to track and advising on the latest paid search techniques across major networks including Google, Bing and LinkedIn and, manage the optimisation of paid search accounts and campaigns in line with key performance metrics. Someone who is at home in a small to mid-sized specialist b2b agency based amongst a team of specialists in their areas of expertise but work together on most large briefs to deliver the best output. It is a great learning environment, where all knowledge is shared on a regular basis, with team offsite days and smaller lunchtime sessions.
Skills and experience are important, but they place equal importance on personality, attitude and cultural fit with the business values. A seasoned digital marketer and account handler, youll be a commensurate professional and self-starter, thats passionate about digital marketing best practice and technologies. Youll also be happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in as needed. Youll be a genuine people person who enjoys supporting others and seeing junior members of the team thrive and develop under your guidance and mentoring. Lastly, a good sense of humour and a fun attitude to life is essential.
