Itential provides powerful network automation software to companies worldwide, from Fortune 500 telecommunications and financial services companies, to enterprises of all sizes. We are committed to building world-class products that accelerate the move toward software-driven networks and next generation, agile network operations. Our corporate headquarters are in Atlanta, GA (US) with offices in the UK and we are growing fast! We are searching for a Software Engineer to focus on building automations within our software in the EMEA region!
We are searching for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work within our Customer Success team. Remote candidates within the United States are encouraged to apply.
Our SDET’s are responsible for the overall quality of the software produced within the team. This will be accomplished by being immersed within the development team and process. The role includes, but is not limited to, the development of automated tests, bug remediation and backports, executing quality tests as Itential software engineers complete project items, management of the merge process within GitLab, as well as playing a key role in the overall software testing process.
Most importantly, this is not a QA engineer role. You're a software engineer who is passionate about development, designing and testing tools, frameworks and automated tests. You are expected to be a highly skilled developer that will not only assist in finding bugs but designing and implementing the fix. Further, your role as a test developer is to actually write code, not a test plan\case.
