Although this is a telesales-led position, the products/services you are selling are essential for clients to complete their projects. This means warm calls rather than cold calling – the focus is on timing sales conversations around client needs .

Telesales / Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:
  • Make 50 calls per day to a mix of new leads (provided) and existing clients .
  • Use CRM systems to manage leads, track sales performance, and record client interactions.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients to identify sales opportunities .
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM) and experienced colleagues to drive business success.
  • Upsell and manage existing client accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales processes.

  • Some B2B telesales or sales experience (will consider B2C sales professionals eager to transition to B2B).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with an excellent telephone manner .

  • Attend sales and other pre-arranged meetings as and when required
  • Effective diary management, ensuring all calls and visits are recorded accurately onto the relevant systems (full system training will be provided)
  • Work with customers to assist with plans in the pipeline, in order to plan for the next project
  • Responsible for maintaining and keeping cleansed your personal company ledger

Branch Performance

  • Assist with stock takes as and when required.
  • Develop and enhance working relationships with suppliers.
  • Identify and develop new account customers, build, and maintain relationships with existing customers to maximise sales within the branch.
  • Authorised to make trading sales and margin decisions up to defined levels.
  • Work closely with other branches to ensure optimum use of stock.

Full training on the specific company policies and procedures will be given, however, understanding of the overall process and job role, is essential.
