In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions, collaborating with product and engineering teams to create scalable, secure, and resilient platforms. What you'll be doing:

  • Designing robust cloud architecture solutions with a focus on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Driving best practices in cloud security , resilience, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop microservices, containerised applications, and event-driven architectures.
  • Supporting the delivery of data-driven products , unlocking insights through modern data platforms.

What we’re looking for:

  • Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud architecture design.
  • Strong understanding of microservices , containerisation , and event-driven system design.
  • Expertise in API security , networking, and cloud FinOps principles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of data technologies (SQL/NoSQL, Big Data platforms).
  • Awareness of ML/AI capabilities within GCP is a bonus.
  • Proficiency with modern programming languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript .
  • Familiarity with SRE principles and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) .

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience working within highly regulated industries like financial services.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (particularly GCP Cloud Architect).
  • Familiarity with agile working practices and iterative development.
